Hotels & Resorts FAQ's

What durations do you do and what days do they start from?

There are 4 types of breaks offered:


* Two night midweek break starting on a Monday
* Two night midweek break starting on a Wednesday
* Four night midweek break starting on a Monday
* Three night weekend break starting on a Friday

We sometimes offer 1 and 2 night weekend breaks, which are available within 2 - 3 weeks of the break starting. Please use our online search to find out the latest availability.

Can I book a single room online and is there a supplement?

Single rooms are available at selected hotels and resorts but due to their limited number, sell out very quickly. To ensure your single room, please book early to avoid disappointment. Single rooms are priced as single rooms. Should you wish to book a double/twin room for a single person, please call us on 0800 1 382 633. Supplements apply.

What are the Check-in times?

Check in times at our Hotels and Resorts are dependant on the style of accommodation booked:


For Hotels:


- Ambassador/Ambassador Plus - 3pm check in time

- Signature Rooms - 2pm check in time

- All Historics/Royales - 1pm check in times


For Coastal resorts


- Standard/Standard Plus - 3pm check in time

- Premier/Supreme Chalets - 1pm check in (2pm at Lakeside)


All chalets at Gunton Hall are 3pm check in times.

What do I have to take with me?

You will need to take your booking confirmation with you. If you do not have this, you will require a form of ID and your booking reference number.

Where can I find directions?

Directions can be found on the specific hotel or resort main web page.

What is the dress code?

This can vary depending on the type of entertainment but dress code is generally smart/casual.

Are towels provided?

Bathroom towels are provided throughout your stay and are changed upon request in an effort to conserve the environment. If you require your towels to be changed please place them in the bath. If staying in a Historic or Royale room, you will have the use of luxury bathrobes. For selected resorts, there is no Chalet room service on Sundays.

What is the parking like?

All of our locations have easily accessible parking onsite and disabled parking facilities.

What health and beauty treatments do you offer?

Facilities vary depending on each individual location. Please visit the website of your chosen location for exact details.

Who do I advise about dietary needs?

Any special dietary requirements can be requested when making your booking online and our chefs will endeavour to cater for you. However, due to the varying dietary requirements requested by our guests, we strongly recommend contacting your chosen hotel/resort at the time of booking to ensure they can cater for your individual needs.

Is there any wheelchair access?

All of the Warner Leisure Hotels locations have easy access for wheelchairs. We also offer a number of rooms with facilities for wheelchair users. However these are not displayed on the website, to ensure we book you a suitable room please contact our sales team on 0800 1 382 633 or click here for more details.

I want to book a ground floor room as I have walking difficulties. How can I do this online?

To ensure you are booked into a ground floor room, please ensure you mention this as a special request at the time of booking. We apologise that we cannot always guarantee a ground floor room due to limited availability and advise you to book early to avoid disappointment. We recommend contacting your chosen hotel/resort at time of booking to ensure the room you would like to book is located on the ground floor.

Is it adults only and how old do you have to be?

The Warner Leisure Hotels locations are all adults only with a minimum age of 21+.

What is the difference in each room style?

All of our accommodation is comfortable and stylish with en-suite facilities.


Our standard Ambassador rooms come with TV/radio, tea and coffee making facilities, a direct dial phone, lounge chairs, coffee table and hair dryer. If you choose to upgrade, you could enjoy the following extras:

Ambassador Plus: These offer the same amenities as the Ambassador room but are more spacious or in a special location. They offer a welcome pack with drink, fresh fruit and a small box of chocolates.

Signature: The stunning bold design of these rooms combines a decadent richness with modern luxuries like a DVD/CD player, flat screen TV, nearly super king-size bed (twin beds also available), mini bar (chargeable on consumption) and luxury toiletries.

Royale (Available at Bodelwyaddan Castle, Alvaston Hall, Littlecote House,Sinah Warren, Bembridge Coast) : These luxurious, individual rooms are available at our hotels. Most are in the original houses and many have four-poster beds, a separate lounge area and wonderful views. You'll also find a welcome pack, luxury bathrobes to use and a mini bar (charged on consumption).


Historic Rooms and Suites ( Available at Nidd Hall, Thoresby Hall, Littlecote House, Holme Lacy House, Cricket St Thomas) : Our Historic rooms are the very best that we have to offer. Located in the original parts of our Historic houses. Each room is decorated to reflect the character of the original house and has its own unique features. Each has a welcome pack, luxury bathrobes to use and a mini bar (charged on consumption). At some Thoresby Hall. Holme Lacy House and Nidd Hall additional dining is available. Early check in is available from 1pm  


Who do I need to contact to look into a wedding venue?

Can I select rooms together? Can I select my favourite room?

For an extra £10 per room per break, you can ask for your favourite room or request rooms together. The charge covers the cost of hotel/resort allocation administration (Subject to availability. Terms and Conditions apply. Book early to ensure your request can be met). Please be sure to call Customer Services on 0870 601 0053 to ensure your request can be met.

Which hotels and resorts have wireless internet connections?

Littlecote House;

No wireless in any bedrooms or public areas, but there is a computer located in reception that has access to the internet for a small fee.

Thoresby Hall;

No wireless internet in either the bedrooms or public area.

Holme Lacy House;

Some of the old house bedrooms can pick up the wireless connection bedroom numbers 203.202.212.211.210. There is a public area below these rooms with free wireless internet for any guests that have brought their laptop with them. The hotel is looking at having the whole of the main house with wireless internet connection and this may be completed as soon as the end of the summer.

Nidd Hall;

No wireless in either bedrooms or public areas, but there is a computer with access to the internet for a small fee.

CricketSt. Thomas;

No wireless internet in either the bedrooms or public areas.

BodelwyddanCastle;

No wireless internet in either the bedroom or public areas.

Alvaston Hall;

No wireless connection in bedrooms, wireless connection is available in the golf clubhouse if guests have their own laptop and a code and password will need to be collected from reception before they can connect.

BembridgeCoast;

No wireless connection in either bedrooms or public areas, but there is a computer with access to the internet for a small fee.

Sinah Warren;

No wireless connection in either bedrooms or public areas, but there is a computer with access to the internet for a small fee.

Gunton Hall;

No wireless connection in either the bedrooms or the public areas.

Lakeside;

No wireless connection in either the bedrooms or the public areas.

Norton Grange;

No wireless connection in the bedrooms but there is wireless connection in the waterfront lounge.

Corton;

No wireless connection in either the bedrooms or the public areas.
