Amidst the rolling Somerset hills lies Cricket St Thomas Hotel, a Grade ll listed manor house, designed in the regency manner by the famed neo-classicist Sir John Soane and which was the inspiration and location for the BBC hit sitcom To The Manor Born.


The hotel boasts 160 acres of gardens and parkland set amid a picturesque riverside setting with spectacular views of the Somerset countryside.


National Garden Scheme


Cricket St Thomas is proud to announce the inclusion of its beautiful gardens in the National Garden Scheme, a charity raising money from garden visitors on specific days during the summer.


These dates for Cricket St Thomas are:

  • Sunday 4th April
  • Sunday 25th July
  • Sunday 26th September

Opening hours are 10am to 4pm


The main NGS beneficiaries are Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Help The Hospices and Crossroads Caring for Carers. The NGS has raised £25 million for charity in the last 10 years.
