Round the Island boat race
This annual event organised by the Island Sailing Club is a one day race around the island. Taking place on Saturday 21 June, this is one of the largest yacht races in the world - regularly attracting over 1700 boats and around 16,000 sailors!
Yarmouth Old Gaffers Festival
Yarmouth town and harbour embraces a fun filled weekend of entertainment which takes place from Friday 30 May to Sunday 1 June. Attractions include continental market stalls, a craft marquee, veteran and classic vehicle display, ghost and history walks plus the 'Oooh Arrh Gaffers Bar' (the biggest real ale festival on the Island)!
