Travelling by car to any of the below attractions will take approx 15 minutes from Norton Grange and approx 50 minutes from Bembridge.

Mottistone Manor Garden, PO30 4ED - This magical and picturesque garden owned by the National Trust surrounds an Elizabethan manor house (not open) and is full of surprises for you to discover as you stroll around. Colourful herbaceous borders, flowering fruit trees and a thriving organic kitchen garden plus shrub filled banks with hillside pathways.

Chessell Pottery Barns, PO41 0UE - Chessell Pottery lies in the heart of the beautiful, un spoilt West Wight countryside. Calbourne Water Mill, PO30 4JN - Set in 35 acres of stunning rural landscape, Calbourne Water Mill contains one of the oldest working water mills in the country, dating back to the Domesday Book. Enjoy looking around the Mill, Museums, Wind Solar and Water Power displays. Walk through the Ancient Oak woodlands and around the ponds, cross the Rainbow Bridge to the Tranquil Island and discover the Dragon's home.

Yarmouth Castle, PO41 0PB - Yarmouth Castle, Isle of Wight provides a magnificent picnic spot, with views over the Solent for a lovely relaxing family day by the sea. Step inside and discover the atmospheric recreation of how the rooms were used in the 16th century, and see the exhibition about the many wrecks which occurred in the treacherous stretch of sea which the castle overlooks.

Fort Victoria Country Park, PO41 0RR - Built on the north shore of the Isle of Wight to guard the Solent the remains of Fort Victoria now house a Marine Aquarium, a Underwater Archaeology Centre , a Planetarium and a Model Railway. The surrounding Country Park offers Seashore and Woodland walks and the site is one of the best vantage points for watching the Solents boats and shipping.

Dimbola Photographic Museum, PO40 9QE - There's lots to see and do. There is a permanent exhibition of JULIA MARGARET CAMERON's life and work, vintage camera displays and a fun Victorian dressing-up room. Make the most of your visit and catch with  workshops, talks and tours.

Alum Bay Glass, PO39 0JD - Part magic, part science, the making of fine quality glass has always held a fascination. The glassmaker's art has resulted in some of the most beautiful objects mankind has made.

The Needles Park, PO39 0JD - A unique attraction with a Chairlift ride to Alum Bay to view The Needles and the world famous sand cliffs. Watch craftsmen at work in the glass studio and sweet manufactory.

Needles Old & New Battery, PO39 0JH - Perched high above the Needles at the extreme tip of the Island, with unrivalled views of the Solent and unspoilt countryside, is the Needles Old Battery a Victorian fort built in 1862 and used throughout both World Wars.
