Thoresby Estate Events
Thoresby Park has been owned by the Pierrepont family since 1600. The family takes a full and active part in the management of the many enterprises, which keep Thoresby well maintained, enabling it to survive for the next generation.
The park is surrounded by several thousand acres of farmland and forestry, employing 50 regular staff. The majority live here and regard it as their home; many spend their working lives on the Estate.
So why not enjoy some of the fabulous events this Summer:
QRL Military Museum presents a 'Picnic in the Park' from 1pm - 5.30pm - Sunday 9th June
East Midlands Festival of Transport including classic cars, bikes plus classic & performance Japanese and Fords - Sunday 30th June
Morris Cars event National rally – Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th August
Thoresby Courtyard is located right in front of the reception area of the hotel, so you don’t have to go far to visit this wonderful place. The courtyard hosts a variety of shops, including arts and crafts, Jewellery, home ware, children's gifts and glass blowing. It also hosts a fabulous gallery and a Military museum, both are free to enter.
