Anyone for a round of golf?

Opened in 1989 our course has views of the picturesque Cheshire countryside in all directions with hardly a car to be heard in any direction.  The Clubhouse has a bar & catering facilities as well as toilets, lockerooms and shower facilities too, all located within the Hotel grounds.

The Course
Our beautiful golf course opened in 1989 offers a challenging test of golf undulating around the river weaver.

The 9 hole, Par 32, 4000 yard course boasts views of the wonderful Cheshire countryside. The Golf Clubhouse has a bar, catering and changing facilities for your convenience.

Green Fees and Dress Code
Green Fees start from £8.50 with special discounts for residents of Alvaston Hall Hotel, Club and trolley hire is also available.

The Golf Club operates a standard golf dress code not permitting jeans, collarless shirts or shellsuits.

Due to popularity the course may get busy during the summer months and it is therefore advisable to book a tee time.

The Driving Range
Our recently developed16 bay floodlit driving range open from 9am-9pm daily allows a perfect practice opportunity with a short game area and putting green.

Cost: £1.00 /  25 balls

Golf Tuition
The Mark Taylor PGA Golf Academy offers a whole range of tuition packages with a state of the art teaching area including computer swing analysis, mirrors and teaching aids.

PGA Advanced Golf Professional Mark Taylor has lesson availability for six days of the week with residents also receiving a discount for golf tuition.

Equipment is included in lessons.
