Who is appearing and when will we find out?

We can now confirm which of your Strictly Come Dancing favourites will be appearing on each of the breaks, please see the individual site pages. Return to Strictly Come Dancing homepage>

Will I be taught by professional dancers?

The dance classes will be taught by top professional dance couples who are currently competing in the UK and World Championships at the highest level.

How many hours of dance tuition will we get?

You will be guaranteed 2 x 45 minute classes throughout your break which you will be able to book once you receive your Welcome Pack prior to arrival.  You can choose from 4 styles of dance – Foxtrot, Waltz, Jive and Cha Cha Cha.  You may be able to take part in more classes if they are under subscribed – we will let you know about this once you arrive for your break.

Do we have to attend all classes?

You don't have to attend any classes if you don't want to, this is your break to enjoy!

How do we enter the Strictly Come Dancing competition?

You will be able to register for the competition at any point during your break, details of which will be announced once you arrive at your hotel. (There is no need to pre-register)

Will the dancing be OK for beginners?

All lessons will cater for every level, from absolute beginners to advanced so please don't be put off. Our professional tutors are experienced in teaching all levels and especially with beginners.

How much dancing is involved over the break?

Each evening there will be lots of music for dancing, either to the BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing" CD or Jeff Hooper's live Big Band.

Do I need to be an experienced dancer to be able to join in?

No, we welcome all levels of dancers

Will there be demonstrations from the dancers?

Yes, each Strictly Come Dancing dancer will be performing in the Strictly Come Dancing showcase

Do I have to do dance everyday or can I do something else?

You are free to join in with as much or as little as you want, this is your break to enjoy

Do I have to dance? Can I Just watch?

You don't have to dance at all if you don't want to, you can just sit back , relax and watch everyone else dancing

Do I need dance shoes?

No, flat soled comfortable shoes are advised as an adequate alternative if you don't already own a pair. There will also be information of where to buy dance shoes on your break should you want to buy your own

What if my partner doesn't want to dance?

They can watch, or enjoy the rest of the facilities at the hotel

What is the dress code?

There is no dress code, however this is a chance to dress up in your best dance outfits

Where can I get lunch?

The coffee shops will be open for lunch everyday of your break, however we have put together a Grazing Lunch package, the menu will rotate throughout the day from 11am - 4pm, choices include salad, baguettes, Jacket potatoes and fresh fruit. Details of how to book this package will be in sent in your welcome pack once you have made your booking.  

Can I reserve a table at the front?

No, it will be first come first served. However there are limited Strictly VIP packages available (VIP packages are £25 per person). The VIP experience includes priority seating at a dressed table in a reserved seating area, complete with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. You will also enjoy VIP bar service with a waiter serving you drinks to your table.


To VIP your Strictly Come Dancing Break, just add the VIP package when booking your break.

Will I get to meet the dancers or Judges?

Yes! At some point throughout the break there will be a chance to meet the Strictly Stars appearing on your break
