Clifftop Lodges

Hugely sought-after, there are 23 lodges lined up along the cliff edge. They all feature a private patio at the front and another to the rear for drinking in the amazing sea views and those early morning sunrises – Lowestoft is the most easterly point of England. Each lodge benefits from designated parking at the front.

Beach Garden and Boardwalk rooms

The majority of rooms, 89 in total, are standard with a seasidey vibe. They overlook the beach garden at the centre of the village or are road-facing. Beach Garden 26 is a wheelchair-accessible premier suite with a wet room. Premier suites – Blythe 1-10, Waveney, 1-10 and Orwell 11-15 – have a balcony or patio, separate lounge and the Signature Experience. An additional 20 Standard rooms in the Thurne block were refurbished in 2019.

The 14 rooms in the two-storey Wensum Block feature separate lounges and the Signature Experience, plus patios or balconies for looking over the Corton gardens. Numbers 8-14 are upstairs and come with a sea view. Number 5 is wheelchair-accessible with a wet room.

There are no lifts in the village, so all upstairs rooms are accessed by stairs. All rooms all accessed by walking outside but it’s a small site with all the facilities no more than a few minutes’ walk away.
