Lakeside Coastal Village bedroom locations

The south east side of Hayling Island off the Hampshire coast is the setting for this friendly coastal village. Accommodation comprises 226 chalets and lodges, all a short stroll from a fishing lake, pretty woodland and the call of the coast.

Standard Rooms

Contemporary and comfortable, these 159 rooms offer either double or twin beds with baths or showers. There are 12 singles among them. They’re spread across the 32-acre site. The Woodpecker and Robin blocks have peaceful locations by the lake. Flamingo overlooks the village green and outdoor barbecue and bar area with the rooms at the rear enjoying views of Chichester Harbour. Jay is close to the archery and rifle shooting range, pitch and putt and putting green. Starling rooms 6-10 and 16-20 are in the woodland area, very peaceful with lots of wildlife to observe.

Flamingo and Peacock are two-storey blocks and have 12 concrete steps to climb. The Closest accommodation to the restaurant and reception is Creekview.

Habour Suites

Situated close enough to all the facilities but still with lots of peace and quiet these beautifully designed suites, 24 in total, feature separate bedrooms, showers in the bathrooms and lounges with bi-folding doors leading out to private patios. Numbers 17 to 24 are suntraps! They all have parking too.

Supreme Rooms

Dotted across the grounds, these rooms boast lounges and parking. Four have baths and 11 have showers. Teal is set by the lake.

Woodland Lodges

Tucked by woodland and close to the lake, the 16 lodges have the most secluded setting within the village. Arranged in a horseshoe shape around landscaped gardens, they all benefit from large verandas with outside seating and allocated parking. Four of the rooms have baths and the other 12 come with showers. There’s a mixture of double and twin.

Bay Cottages

Desirable because of their separate small lounges and dedicated parking, the 12 cottages are equipped with showers and double beds.
