For many years Dareen has played at festivals, theatres and clubs, gaining popularity along the way. In 2011, he was voted BCMA’s male vocalist of the year and in 2012 in the solo artistes award. In the same year, he cycled the 948.5 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats in nine days and raised over £19,000 for charity.
