Marc Robinson presents 'Buddy Holly's Winter Dance Party'

58 years on we present a celebration of Buddy’s music, together with that of Ritchie Valens, the Big Bopper and Dion and the Belmont’s.

All the music is performed by real musicians dressed in authentic 50's attire on real instruments. The attention to detail will have you believing that you are back in 1959. See how Buddy recorded songs such as 'Everyday' where the drums were replaced by the drummer slapping his knees, and 'Not Fade Away' on a cardboard box! An acknowledgement is made to the influence that Elvis himself had on Buddy when we are treated to a short medley of Elvis songs that Buddy himself recorded. Tonight we prove that the music did not indeed die but lives on and is as vibrant and relevant as ever.
