History

Warner Leisure Hotels became part of Bourne Leisure in October 2000 as part of Bourne Leisure’s £700 million acquisition of Rank’s Holiday Division (with Warner Leisure Hotels came a number of other UK leisure brands namely, Butlins and Haven). The Warner Leisure Hotels business slowly transitioned into becoming a Bourne Leisure company in November 2004 when a new management team was put in place.

The Business

Warner Leisure Hotels is a remarkably successful business catering for the over 50’s market, for UK short leisure breaks for which demand is very strong. In 2009 our design team have spearheaded the redesign of many of our Historic rooms on which we are spending £2 million more this year and have created a new standard of Signature luxury for us. We are planning a major investment of some £5 million over the next two years bringing these rooms to every hotel.

Our Product Portfolio

Within it’s portfolio Warner Leisure Hotels has 9 countryside hotels and 4 coastal resorts all in absolutely stunning locations. Some of our beautiful hotels are Grade I and II listed buildings while others are remarkable for their stunning settings. All are surrounded by immaculate gardens and have relaxed and informal ambience for our guests to enjoy. Warner Leisure Hotels has evolved a very distinctive product offering. The combination of a chain of hotels that offers half board short breaks together with live evening performances is unique, as well as the fact that our holidays are only for adults only. We also offer very unique ‘experience’ breaks. Our guests can choose from over 700 experiences to make their stay with Warner Leisure Hotels extra special, from a trip on the orient express to a hot air balloon or helicopter ride.
