Our historic hotels have been eyewitness to many love stories, Henry VIII’s royal tryst with Jane Seymour and the courtship between Lord Nelson and Lady Emma Hamilton among them. But now for the most romantic of them all with multi-award nominated Immersion Theatre presenting a heartwringing adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. At times funny but ultimately tragic, this story of forbidden love and bitter rivalry will play out on our lawns in a visual spectacle.
