Richard and Adam
"Following their sell-out tour to over 15,000 people and wowing the nation with their extraordinary harmonies on Britain’s Got Talent, sensational Welsh singing brothers Richard and Adam are thrilled to be appearing at Bodelwyddan Castle, North Wales, which is so close to their home town.
Their success on Britain’s Got Talent was followed by their debut No 1 album The Impossible Dream. Their follow up album, “Richard & Adam at the Movies”, ia an escape into favourite silver screen classics with memorable numbers such as ""Can You Feel the Love Tonight"", ""Goldfinger"" and ""Moon River"". Expect songs such as ""Nessun Dorma"" and ""The Impossible Dream"", as well as opera favourites and movie classics"
"Richard & Adam, operatic finalists on the series of Britain's biggest TV entertainment show, represent just that: two ordinary Brits possessed of an extraordinary talent worth celebrating, and their story is an incontestably inspiring one. Entirely unconnected to showbiz, and geographically remote from the hub of where most dreams come true (the north of Wales may as well be the dark side of the moon, and the brothers worked part-time in a coffee shop), they nevertheless recognised their own gift and so decided, simply, to teach themselves their craft, and then take that craft out into the world. ""We never had singing lessons, nothing like that, because we couldn't really afford it,"" Richard says, shrugging. Adam concurs. ""So, sad as it sounds, we just sat and watched YouTube for about three years straight, studying all the great singers – pop stars, West End voices; anyone who could really belt out a tune - and learned that way."" During their tireless online research, they came across a clip from Pavarotti teaching people how to sing, how to breathe, how to project. They came to think of it as the ultimate masterclass, and studied it endlessly. ""Because let's face it,"" Adam says, ""you probably couldn't get better lessons from anyone, right?"" They heeded Pavarotti's advice, and look where it got them: all the way to the final of BGT, and beyond."
