The Overtones

The four-piece, made up of Mark Franks, Darren Everest, Jay James and Mike Crawshaw are best known for their exquisite vocals, pitch perfect harmonies, effortless and perfectly timed dance moves, and their charming and distinctive style. Their show promises to be a non-stop party from start to finish, featuring original smash-hits like ‘Gambling Man’ and classic songs by The Drifters, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and many, many more.

The Overtones have been a part of the British music scene for over thirteen years. They quickly became household names after the release of their first album in 2010 and have since enjoyed multi-platinum record sales with 5 Top 10 albums, 11 major sell-out tours and broadcast appearances on many popular shows across the UK and Europe.

The four-piece group, Mark Franks, Darren Everest, Jay James and Mike Crawshaw continue to impress critics and fans with their perfectly timed dance routines and distinctive style that only enhances their exquisite vocals. Combined with their timeless originality and classic nostalgia, their show-stopping performances have made The Overtones one of the UK’s most in demand live acts. The Overtones enjoyed continued success during their ten year anniversary year in 2020 with their highly anticipated UK tour and release of their seventh studio album - ’10’ - which achieved the group’s first Official UK Chart Number 1 Independent Album. The hit album went on to generate impressive music placements with ‘Celebration’ featuring as the official soundtrack to The Queens Platinum Jubilee parade with television coverage catching members of the Royal family - including the Duchess Of Cambridge and Princess Anne - singing and dancing along! Other placements include featuring in Sky Cinema’s blockbuster film ‘Monster Family 2’ and a global collaboration with Qatar Airlines for the 2022 World Cup promo that saw football stars Neymar and Sergio Ramos singing along to the track. FIFA recognised the groups natural ability to entertain and invited the boys to perform half time shows at four knockout matches for the Football World Cup in 2022 including England verses Senegal, which of course the members we thrilled about. Over the four matches The Overtones performed to over 300,000 people. The ‘awesome foursome’ have headlined many of the most prestigious venues in the world, including The London Palladium, The Royal Albert Hall, Buckingham Palace for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert, and Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate (where they performed to over one million people). Now The Overtones continue their anniversary celebrations by touring with musical legends Michael Ball and Alfie Boe and, after early success, are travelling to new territories including Indonesia and Mexico where their take on ‘Say A Little Prayer’ charted in the iTunes Top 10 and brought them recognition in the USA and further acclaim globally.
